This macerator works well and is pretty easy to install if you are a reasonably adept DIYer. The quality is decent, but it isn't built like a tank. For the price, though, it is a solid value. A couple of issues that took away one star are as follows: first, as others have mentioned, this does not have the proper certifications for installation in the US. If you are doing things "above the board" and having your project inspected you may have problems. Second, while the build quality is decent, the plastic is a bit on the thin side compared to other units I have seen. For my application I am using it where I have an access panel so it is easy to access if anything ever breaks or fails. I wouldn't be overly confident installing this behind drywall where to fix it would require opening the wall. Honestly, I don't think I would be comfortable permanently installing ANY macerator behind a wall due to the fact that at SOME point there may be issues. I like to be able to look at it from time to time to make sure everything is still watertight, or in case someone flushes something they shouldn't have and it gets clogged.Overall, in terms of functionality it works well. Noise is not bad, although it does tend to cycle pretty frequently during use. This could be a design failing, or it could be a testament to how quickly it expels waste water. Cycling noise is just a given with a macerator, though. It's the price you pay when gravity feed is not an option.

Good quality and handles a lot. It is working for my entire basement laundry and bathroom needs perfectly. I got a handyman and plumber to install it, and he loved it. Perfect quality and great installation. Has been working perfectly and runs smoothly.

I bought this pump for our basement setup after realizing gravity wasn’t going to do me any favors down there. Installation wasn’t bad—if you’re semi-handy and can follow directions, it’s totally doable. I hooked up the toilet and a utility sink, and everything has been working great. It’s surprisingly quiet considering the job it’s doing, and it handles the, uh, less glamorous side of plumbing without any fuss. Bonus: it’s got extra inlets, so I have options if I ever feel inspired to hook up a shower down there.

Not an 800 watt as advertised, it is only 500 watt, I was disappointed and felt I had been misled.

The macerator does not give one big pump. It gives microbursts five to six times per flush so it feels like it's always pumping. My last macerator, when you flush the toilet the pump would run one time and done, this macerator is ridiculous. I don't see any way to adjust it nor is there any way to contact the sellers.

It is a very sturdy and high-performance product. The only regret is that I had to buy a separate adapter to connect the pipe.
