Thermostat was faulty, ordered one from ac del co this time, I’ll see if it works when it gets or if it’s junk too

This does fit a 2015 Chevy Cruze LT. It works as described. It did NOT come with the gasket so it leaked until I got a brand new gasket and some rubber gasket to hold in place. Easy to install. Does maintain the heat level.

Wasn’t impressed with the rubber seal out of the box. Spent 1/2 hour installing carefully snugging down all 3 fasteners evenly and to proper torque only to have this leak . The housing seems well made and sturdy but none of that matters if it doesn’t seal.

The coolant thermostat is well-made from quality material. The housing is made out of aluminum, which makes it a superior replacement in comparison with the OEM coolant thermostat with polymer housing. The coolant thermostat comes with a pre-installed gasket to complete the project. It is easy to install for any DIY mechanic. This is a great-value coolant thermostat that is expected to last way longer than the OEM one it replaced.

Updated 1/2025:I had this on for a couple of weeks and the gasket failed. I had to pull the thermostat back off and make my own gasket. Thankfully it isn't super hard to get to, but to anyone who purchases this, I would take the gasket out that comes with it and slap some gasket maker on there.I have a 2013 Chevy Sonic 1.4 with around 150k miles and recently started having issues getting warm air through the vents (of course when winter starts). I haven't gotten a check engine light, so figured thermostat is the best place to start. That and these engines are notorious for having cooling system issues.I got the old one off and slapped this new one on. A quick glance at the two of them and they look identical. Sure enough this bolted on and hooked up without a problem. I got the coolant topped off and fired up the care. Viola! The heat started working! So far so good. I have had it on for a month or so and everything is working! I hope this aluminum housing works better than the plastic, but we shall see.
