Excellent as always and not bulky to either keep in your bag with you or when in use. I’ve ordered at least 10 of these and haven’t had a single bad one. At this price point I’m very surprised at the quality and reliability.

Needed to install a phone at a location in the building where running a hard-line was impractical. We used a Wi-Fi client and this injector to power the IP Phone that needed POE, and it worked great.

I bought this while traveling and I forgot my electrical supply for my phone. It works great and was a good value for the money.

Pros: The plug is compact and doesn't block any other power outlets. The green LED is nice and bright.Cons: It doesn't actually deliver any power. I tested with known-good equipment, with an 802.3af device connected to "POE" and an unpowered switch to "LAN"—as well as the other way around, for good measure—and the device failed to power on. In addition, while the product box reads "NewItem" and my invoice states that it was in new condition, the white printed "POE" text on the brick is obviously worn, clearly indicating that this is a used product. Upon the initial unboxing, there were even slightly darker spots from someone else's finger oils.(The box came slightly dented, as shown, but that's to be expected as it was shipped using Amazon's lightweight packaging. This does not factor into my review.)It's a shame. I really like the design, and this would probably be an excellent product if it were actually new, but this particular listing is nothing but a waste of time.

I had purchased some new IP cameras that use POE. I needed to initialize them first, before plugging them into the NVR and didn't have any way of supplying power to the cameras outside of the NVR. Using this adapter, I plugged it into an unused switch port, then line power, and finally the camera. The camera powered up properly and I was able to then initialize the camera through it's own remote interface. Initialized several cameras all without a hitch.
