It did work and replace the stuck/sticking valve that was in the intake manifold. Didn't get rid of the cel light but not the parts fault, but it was a pain to install correctly.

Dorman makes garbage parts. Roll the dice and cross tour fingers if toy get a good one. Just my luck, this unitmis garbage an can't get warranty. If you buy be prepared for them to change their name and no warranty. Ain't worth the financial saving to buy this kink off of amazon

This part would intermittently stop working causing car to run rough. Only to start working and work for days or months then stop again. The mechanic finally found this defective part. Amozon wanted to charge a restocking fee for refund or send a replacment for free. Because of the reliability issue (poor quality part)I did not want a replacment but did not think a restocking fee for defective part under warrenty was fair. Shame on amozon because it took a mechanic 8 months to determine it was bad and still they want to charge a restocking fee. Shame on the manufacturer for making poor quality part. Lesson learned by quality product from a local store that will stand behind their products.

Good product and took care of my p2017 error code. My patriot was getting the red lightning bolt and had a rough idle while in drive. Since I had already replaced the throttle body 3 months backs decided this would be next. After switching to this new part and commuting to my daughters school, work then back home I feel confident in the Jeep again. The rough idle went away after a reset and the days commute.
