Electrical issues can be annoying, thin wires and multipin plugs are the bane of problem solving. One broken wire can be expensive if you need to work on a pigtail with 4 wires due to one wire broken at the terminal. This lets you replace that single terminal.

Definitely something that is always good to just have around, because those fuses can blow at any time. Being able to keep all of them in one spot (or seperate some and put them in the car) is very handy.

Packaging could be better. The tweezers creat a bridge between the compartments, so plan on separating or searching for the correct pins. The crimping tools and the heat shrink solder connections are great. The pin i need to fix a taillight harness was close but not quite the same as the factory one I removed. The pin required a little work to get it to fit, buts much better than spending $300 for a new harness. Overall happy with the kit.

Never have the correct wire terminal connectors? You are not alone! Thankfully, this item is certainly a good start to fixing that! The included crimping tool is so-so but it certainly gets the job done and it's hard to complain for the asking price. Just make sure to keep it oiled and it should last.I hope this review helps you make an informed purchasing decision!

Ok, I know not to confuse shipping issues with product issues; those are two different types of reviews. However, sometimes packaging issues bleed into product issues. How so? Well, in this case, you get several hundred connectors, which is awesome, but you also get a pair of tweezers. "Wait, what's wrong with tweezers? Are you some weird tweezer hater?" I assure you I am not. However, they seal the tweezers inside the same box as the connectors. What that means is those lovely compartments holding all the connectors in their own place have a large cathedral ceiling for connectors to move around on their own during shipping. About a third of my compartments were empty with others overfilled, and all sizes mixed up. That means you have to start your purchase with sorting. If the tweezers were on the outside of the box, this wouldn't happen.Ok, that's the bad. The rest seems good. The connectors are all within the spec I need. They seem properly made - and are fitting in the existing housings I need them to fit into. The crimper seems to work well. The bottom jaw has a little looseness, but nothing serious or impacting performance. It can also be adjusted. The lock is nice in that you don't need to unlock. You just squeeze and it automatically unlocks. Good when you have your hands full with wiring.Overall, this is a nice set of connectors for anyone doing this type of electrical work. It includes all you need (including the infamous tweezers). It should give you what you need to replace, repair and built solid connections.

I do a fair amount of automotive work (not a professional) and I like for my work to be done to the quality level of the OEM. Not only does it make the connections more stable and reliable, they last alot longer. Manufacturers have a whole army of engineers to test these things for durability, longevity, connectivity, etc. Who am I to second guess their work.Anyhow, this kit comes with nearly everything needed to make solid, stable connections in a harsh environment.Just the assortment of connectors alone is worth its weight in gold. If used correctly and carefully, this kit should provide you with OEM quality connections. So if you do alot of modifications like I do, you won't have to worry about connector failures. This is a solid value for all that is included.
