All new lines, steering box flushed and cleaned, hydro boost was flushed, all new fluid. The unit lasted approximately 2,000 miles. The unit failed on a 500-mile drive.Do not buy this garbage, I wish I would have paid for the GM original part. I will this time.DO NOT risk buying this trash. Look at all the other people that have also had problems.I just purchased a brand new unit from Rock Auto; GM PN # 19420676 $229.79

It was necessary to return the 1st pump. Rebuilds are a very difficult biz. Vendor didn't cause strife. Simply replaced it. Very fast turnaround.Can't speak about operation. Getting old pump out is at least very difficult.

Fit 2003 gmc Silverado with 5.3L, need to cap the extra return line, surprised it didn't come with one that would secure.
