I was building an infrared camera system for medical diagnostics and needed something to block the visible spectrum from getting to the sensor. I opened my NoiR ccd camera and designed something to hold this filter as close to the focal point as I could get it, so I didn't need a much larger filter in front of the lens. This one was perfect for the job and I am now experimenting with it.

Lens block all visible light while letting IR through. Converts a normal camera to an IR camera, perfect for headtracking. I love it, my neck muscles hate it.
