Dangerously poor construction and materials. Not able to handle rated current and voltage. Luckily it tripped the breaker before burning my house down. I also ordered solid copper connectors and a 240 volt plug off Amazon. All are trash and needed to be replaced. The solid copper connectors stick to a magnet, so are really just copper coated. Don't buy any electrical equipment off Amazon. I learned my lesson. Everything failed and had to be replaced.

I used two of these to make a 240 volt T connection inside an automatic transfer switch box for a 6kw home standby generator system. I needed to do parallel wiring from an incoming #8 stranded wire from the generator to two outgoing #8 stranded wires to two transfer switches (one automatic and one manual). These came with slotted connectors. I would have preferred Allen. The description in the listing is a little ambiguous ("Options include slotted, 3/16 and 1/4 Allen Hex"). But this was not enough to knock down the rating. Even if a little expensive, these fittings made the task a lot easier and simpler. These fittings laid down nicely in the box with the wires attached. This dual entry type of connector made it easy to route the wires as it provides more flexibility in making connections.

The product is great. Unfortunately it arrived long after my project was completed. I’m sure I’ll find a use for this one someday. The ones I found locally were more expensive but available.

These make connecting big wires a breeze. Only thing found was the little caps kept falling out. Just wrapped it with electrical tape over the plugs. Problem solved.
