Spark plug boots don't seem to fit the plugs for a 454 big block. This is the second set that I will have to return. Pretty displeased.

I used these on a Chevy that had a misfire in the sparkplugs. I wasn't sure what needed replacing but these seemed to solve the issue. It was pretty easy to install especially if you have some knowledge around vehicles. They work really well and it was simple. Saved me a lot of money not having to take my vehicle into the shop and fixing the issue myself with these parts.

They seem as good as the plug wires that came on the truck, or better. For the price, $30, they are great. I have them on a 2010 Escalade. Good, tight fit.

First off, they fit my 2002 Chevy Silverado with the 6.0L gas without a problem. About 10 minutes to change (the metal boots pull up, then the wire comes out). You’ll reuse your metal boots and they easily slide over the new wires before installing, then after you feel the wire snap on, you push the metal boots down to lock. My truck had a random misfire with the old wires, and unfortunately, it still does with the new. However, now they are red, so it goes faster. Now for the tale:I measured 5/16” / 8mm for wire diameter x about 6.25” long. My old NGK ones, being at least 10 years old and being just a dumb slow blue colour, measured 4/16” (1/4) (6.5mm) x 5.75”.The new fast red ones measured 1200 ohm +/- 50 on the 3 I tested, and my 10+ year old blue ones were 100-125 ohm. That sent me down a rabbit hole, but conventional google wisdom says 6000 (6k ohm)/ ft and below is acceptable, and double that for used wires. There is also something about electrical noise suppression working backwards to that. Finally I found a place that said 500-5000 ohms/ft is acceptable. Really, I don’t know. I used to think lower was just better - however copper would be next to zero ohms (likely with no EMF noise “protection”).Truck runs just as well as before, and it was a cheap test to see if it was wires. I think it’s still best to put a dab of dielectric grease on the tips, but I don’t know what’s what with automotive anymore :) Good luck!

These Spark Plug wires are an excellent fit for my 2012 Chevy Avalanche with the 5.3 V8.I have been having a random misfire - somewhere. Swapping around the old spark plug wires has done nothing to stop the problem. My current thought is to go through the various "mechanical" bits and pieces, to see if I can correct this. This is my first stop - to replace the spark plug wires. Next will be the plugs themselves. Both of these items are "wear" items that need to be replaced every so often anyway, so I am not too concerned if the wires or plugs still have a little life left in them.Wire size. You really can't go by a visual inspection. Years ago, I purchased a wireless mic system. The mic came with a nice, thick, very flexible cord, running from the mike pack into the camera. I wanted to purchase a second cable - for backup. You always need to have a backup! Anyway, the mic guy said "no" to me. He would not sell be a second cable from the wireless mic manufacture. He said, he thought the same as me. That the cable was high quality, thick, very flexible - by all accounts, a great cable! Until he cut one in half to test. He said he was shocked by the copper wire inside. It was very tiny and thin. It would not hold up well at all. He sold me two cables that he custom makes, a thinner outside, but a quality much, much better on the inside. I always remember that story. So just because these cables might look thinner on the outside, it does not mean that they are not up to the job!For me, I still detected another random misfire yesterday. It really is driving me nuts! Most times, the engine is strong and smooth. But every once in a while, it will act like an old, tired man. And I can say that, because I am, an old tired man!Bottom Line - A good set of Spark Pug wires! Much better value over the OEM wires my dealer has for sale! No issues, no problems. Excellent fit.

Had no issues installing these on my 05 avalanche. Boots were pretty decent and the wires were a bit more flexible then my old worn out wires. Diameter of the wire is a little small but I've had zero issues since installing these. For the price they do a good job.
