This set of tie downs has made trailering our compact tractor so much easier. No more messing with chains and long ratchet straps. We drive right up on our trailer, set the wheels between the chocks, and strap them down. Excellent set-up and a much easier process.

I haul lawn equipment around every day, and have had several versions of these types of kits. One from Cabela's, one from Trailer Racks, a replacement ratchet end from Harbor Freight. Here's what I like about this kit- the hardware is nice, like the Cabela's kit. The strap is similar to the Cabela's and Trailer Racks strap. This one has a rubber handle cover which is nice. The Harbor Freight strap was ok, but the strap was too long- the handle was almost under the fender of my zero-turn. You'll notice how short the strap is on the handle end of this kit- that's good, it keeps and handle accessible when popping it loose. Everything is great- but it's missing one thing- the rubber "cleats" on the straps, that keep the strap from sliding. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to have them, but I will order some to put on these. They are linked below. Also attached is a picture of an accident I was involved in while using this style of strap. Car pulled across traffic and forced me into a culvert/ditch. The truck frame was bent from the weight of the trailer pushing into it when I hit the other bank, but the mower never moved- and at the time I only had a hold-down on only one side- you can see it on the driver's side rear tire of the mower... I purchased these to use for transporting my UTV on my trailer. In the past I have simply used rachet straps to secure my UTV to the trailer. These were very easy to install and are definitely a step up from the rachet straps. These were a must have for me as we travel alot in the summer to our camper. Highly recommend.

There is a little confusion on what size tires they will fit. In the top description it say 10 to 23". If you scroll down it says up to 35". My UTV has 30" tires and they will just fit. Which to me that is perfect for my needs. No extra strap to deal with. The quality of these Antelope Wheel Stop Tie Downs is good. It comes with all the hardware needed for install. The straps are nice and have good ratchet mechanisms on them. This is the first time using this type of tie downs. I have to say so far I am impressed with it. I have only used it once so far. It was much faster loading and unloading. And my UTV never moved at all. With traditional straps the UTV would bounce up and down on it suspension and cause the straps to loosen. With these there was no movement at all. So far very happy with them and do recommend them. But they only work on tires up to 30".

Excellent and affordable way to keep your mower or other wheeled load secure. I run a small lawn care business that is strictly residential. Therefore I don’t need or use a large trailer or mower but being I use a smaller /lighter zero turn mower it has a tendency to bounce and slide around a bit no matter how easy or careful I take it. This is obviously bad not only for that mower and trailers’ wear and tear, but also my other push mowers and small equipment that are near it. Very easy DIY install. In my opinion, you could easily expect to pay this retail for only one strap, but you get two straps in this kit, excellent value. so far it has done its job protecting my rig that makes me money. Well worth the small investment.

I was not able to use this due to the straps where way to short. And it says it comes with wider washers but mine did not as well and was missing 2 bolts as well.
