I really like the idea of this frame as it allows for swapping out art easily. The frame is wood, although not the best quality, it does look good. The mat fits well and the metal tabs hold the mat in place well. My unit did not come with the hanging hardware as described and the instructions included explain that you need to place cardboard behind the art but the cardboard is not included. I guess I’ll have to cut some myself and buy hanging hardware to get this to function.The instruction sheet has misspellings and poor grammar.The actual construction seems fine and after some fiddling, I think I’ll be able to sue this as intended.

This is an excellent shadow box - it's design is well done, and the construction is certainly above average. The clear cover is acrylic, not glass - but since the door opens and closes, the fact it won't break is actually a benefit. The acrylic ships with a protective film on both sides. The white matte material is easily removed.I like the fact that it's fairly shallow - of course this limits your display items to material that is fairly flat. The best feature, in my opinion, is the hinged door with the magnetic closure. It opens easily allowing access to your treasures on display. The clips on the back are extremely heavy duty and allow for hanging in either landscape or portrait orientation.Overall I highly recommend this shadow box. It also ships in a decent-looking box, making it a nice gift,

I tried hanging this frame up within a few days of receiving it and the hooks on the back already fell off. It appears as if it was just pushed in without or barely any adhesive and was just holding onto the backboard based on gravity. It fell off within a minute of hanging. I needed up supergluing the hooks back on. I would have expected it to stay on for at least some uses, but at least it didn’t fall off after and break on the ground.I like the wooden frame and the magnet seems decent though.
