This was my second booster. Same issues as the first. faulty check valve, applies the brakes as you drive.

The unit I bought had kept causing my brakes to lock up. I tried different pushrod lengths, power steering flush, and I checked the pedal to booster length and nothing changed the fact once the unit gets to operating temp it would begin to slowly lock up and cause my master cylinder to sieze my brakes. I purchased a remanufactured unit and it has solved my problem. I would not recommend this brand to anyone.

Item is defective and poor quality craftsmanship. DO NOT PURCHASE A CORDONE BRAND REMANUFACTURED HYDROBOOST.It continues to lock up my brakes causing damage to my pads, rotors and calipers. I flushed my power steering system and brake lines with new fluid.Called cardone for a replacement. They agreed the item was remanufactured incorrectly and they would have Amazon send me another one. One week later I have yet to be contacted by Amazon for remedy.Additionally, I’ve incurred the cost of replacing calipers, rotors, and pads from high heat exposure.

I received my part perfectly and in great condition. However, the part was not the exact fit for my truck. There should be more specific options to choose from to determine the exact vehicle application. Thankfully my mechanic is a genious and morphed the old part with the new to fix it. The fact that I live outside the US makes returning a part difficult. So at least it worked out.
