i bought this kit because is economic but the solenoid does not perform properly, i am at the point where i have to do all the work again, this time i will buy a better part. my issue is that now my truck wont go into first gear the problem been the solenoid.

Don't buy this kit!I explicitly purchased this kit with the speed sensor, governor solenoid and pressure sensor to address problems where the transmission does not shift into first at a stop light. The speed sensor fit, but the pressure sensor did not fit, and the solenoid was so cheap and about 2/3 the size of the original, mostly plastic and the electrical connector was broken. Not something I would consider possibly reliable.Complete waste of time, and transmission oil.Very expensive filter.

Awesome product. However out of all the parts the shift solenoid... The most important part... Was the wrong part. All other parts fit except the shift solenoid sensor. Not too happy. I put everything together then had to take everything apart to replace that one part that was incorrect!

These fixed part of my issue but when I put the governor sensor in and hooked up the wire the part where the wire connects to the sensor broke! also where the bracket that holds the governor sensor in wasn't pressed correctly and i had to bend the tabs down so the bracket would slide in the correct spot. All in all it did it's job on my test drive will buy again.
