A prong rest requires a smooth draw all the way to the backwall. This is not a whisker bisquit or drop away release. It's for precision shooting. The blades are three levels of thickness .08, .010, 0.12 and they are springy if you can't draw smooth. My brother is not real graceful and he can shoot it. After the arrow comes off the rest a couple times he relaxes and draws smooth.Consistent shot after shot. The blades can bend if you are not careful but otherwise it takes effort to bend the blade.I have three of these and everyone I shoot with uses them. I have a drop away on another bow but I don't trust the mechanical action to drop. This is the most consistent arrow rest I've used by far.

The arrow does not stay seated after the cams of the bow turn and lock. The arrow then would jump off the blade and I would have to start over again. I lost confidence in this arrow rest.

I like everything except the price! too expensive for a blade rest.

This is a easy tune target rest.
