This is a very, very bitter brew. If you like harsh bitter flavour then sure. But as a easy refreshing beer, not so much. Even after almost 8 weeks rest time, still very sharp.

This was my first experience with a no boil beer. Very easy to make. Flavor was good although I think the boil kits are probably a little better. These are definitely a lot easier to make.

Good beer! I bought another one and started it today. 😁 I gave it four star because it’s much darker than a Pale ale. It is very hoppy.

So far, so good. This kit is like a concentrated wort. There is no heating water and steeping grains. No boiling the malt. Just pour the contents into the fermenter, add water and yeast. The part I missed in not reading the instructions fully, and pouring the contents into the fermenter, this kit is not complete. This kit calls for adding 1kg of dextrose, not included. I did not have any. So I used sucrose. The beer fermented okay and taste good so far. I just bottled, so in about two weeks, I can test the final result.The final result is in! Great tasting beer. Smooth and not too bitter. My beer snob friends like it!

While this kit produced a decent ale, it tastes more like an English Bitter, definitely not a Pale Ale. Luckily, I like English Bittter.
