This is made nicely and the added strap is allows to get a tighter hold. Note: this is not hospital grade Velcro. But it has proven to hold tight. It also is more comfortable than the one hospital gave me. If using binders suggest you try and see which ones are comfortable and do the job for you!

I love this binder!! I had an open myomectomy February 20th and I brought it to the hospital with me for post surgery immediately after waking up from anesthesia I had the nurses put it on me and I have been wearing it ever since. I love that it allows me to have compression while still being able to breathe properly and the material is really good it isn't itchy or uncomfortable. All of the nurses were really impressed.

This one hit the goldilocks problem for me. I wanted to use it for compression in two different cases. One is for a degenerating spine where abdominal compression can provide relief and a bit of support. This was on a tall height male (>6'4"). The other was after a nephrectomy where compression and support were recommended. This was on a medium/tall height female (>5'8"). In both cases, the full band was a too tall. It would slide up if started around the hips, and/or press upwards uncomfortably into the chest area. The auxiliary band was a bit too small, not providing enough surface area for compressing the whole abdomen, much like a wide belt. I mucked around trying to get either one comfortable, but just never found the right fit in either case.

So I ordered this as a backup binder in case hospital didn’t give me one after my c section, and to be honest this one has a thicker structure than the one hospital gave me. The size I got fits about a size 12-14 pre pregnancy.

Helped a ton with post c section recovery. Liked it better than the hospital provided wrap. Very comfortable and secure. Loved it!

Excellent! I originally bought a different one that had 3 pieces and it was awful. This one is so much better. The one piece is easy, fits well, doesn’t roll, the Velcro is impressively strong, I’m very pleased with this purchase.I was 232lb prior to giving birth and because of water retention I stayed the same weight until about 5 days postpartum. 10 days postpartum I’m 219. I bought the XXL which works great. I probably could have gone with the XL but with the design, even the XXL can be tightened significantly to a smaller size. If you’re on the fence, I would recommend the bigger size.
