I saw this tool in a YouTube video that helped me, and I have to say this tool helped just as good as in the video I watched. I clamped my upper radiator hose with this and prevented a bunch of fluid from spilling out while I drained and replaced my radiator. It was a cake-walk. Any affordable tool that prevents your weekend project from becoming a disaster is worth it.

They are big. The two larger sizes are bigger than other pliers in my took box. The largest is about the size of a medium channel lock plier. The smallest one is still large enough to go around any coolant hose that isnt the main two radiator hoses. Feel heavy and good quality. Hope they last.

These are cheaply made, but they get the job done at a very reasonable price, and cover a wide range of hose sizes.

I use this for closing rubber gas lines on any machine needs carburetor work and doesn't have a shut-off valve.

These look like a great item and at a great price, but they are extremely difficult to adjust and lock in place. They also do not release very easy.The largest one bent under pressure.I purchased different ones from Harbor Freight and they work great. I could not find them in any other store.I missed the cut off date for returning them, or I would have sent them back!

I was amazed for price and how well they worked. Normally when I buy tool I'll get nice brand name well built tool. These are on par or slightly above harbor freight in their build quality but price vs 3 sizes I think is fair.In industrial shop environment I'm not sure how long they would last but for your personal projects and occasional use these will do fine.I did install of coolant filter on my lml duramax used these to clamp off hoses so I didnt have to drain coolant. They worked excellent, overall this was money well spent and I would buy them again.

The construction is good, no issues, EXCEPT the part that squeezes the hose: the pliers are sm, med and lg, but the pinch off area does not really get bigger, though the plier construction does. The small plier has a 1 1/2" contact area. The Large contact area is 2". I would like to see the large 3", but hey, the small plier works great for pinching off small engine fuel hose.Otherwise, these are nice.

I bought the 3 piece orange plastic set locally first. Hinge was tiny wood screw which blew apart immediately. Took them back and bought this all metal set for the same price. ABN shipped quickly and I received them BEFORE Amazon's 1st receive by date. THIS SET IS PERFECT! Smallest plier clamped off fragile 1/4" plastic water line under kitchen sink with no damage. Used medium and large pliers to clamp off 2 radiator hoses on BMW coolant recovery tank, also with no damage. These will also come in handy in my dental office when an air line blows. Repairs will be made without having to shut down the air compressor and the entire office. Well worth the price! Avoid the plastic set rip-off and buy this metal set!!
