Love the oval chainring!! This is the second Absolute Black oval I have used. I can definitely tell a difference in my climbs!

It's well made and looks sharp. I bought it for increased uphill traction on technical and gravelly sections. The first time out, I was able to climb 2 tricky sections that have large roots and rocks that I had only rarely been able to get before. Not only that, they felt very manageable where before they had felt desperate. It helps on loose uphill sections too, but not as dramatically. Pedaling on other sections felt natural right away and there was no noticeable adjustment. It actually felt more natural pedaling than a round chainring. I'm very happy with its performance and consider it well worth it.
