We have been looking for attractive ways to protect our kitchen counters. As much as I like the colors of backsplash tiles, they do not last because pots and pans scrape the designs off of them. These black granite tiles are a good option. We put silicone feet on them and they work nicely. I wish they also cam in 8" squares so we could protect a tighter space on our kitchen counter.
