Used this on 2 vehicles so far to check for refrigerant leaks. Takes getting used to. If set too sensitive, the meter alarms for everything (wind, movement, a bird's fart, etc.) It is simple to use but note that it has a persistent beeping and the tone when something is detected. The UV flashlight is kinda cheap but functional. The engine's fan gives false positive results so make sure you run the a/c and perform a check after shutting off the vehicle.

I would not recommend this to anybody it is a very poorly made cheap so-called tool it does not sniff out any freon I hailed it right to the can of freon that I had been using and it did nothing the little light that comes on it is about as worthless as can be don't waste your money it's worth spending the extra few bucks to get one that actually works well
