Picked up this JacEnergy AC Power Cord Power Adapter for 12 Volt Refrigerator to use with our Dometic CF-11 and CF-18 when traveling. Having this adapter on a road trip makes bringing and using a 12V fridge in a hotel room a lot more convenient. Now I can leave the 12V cable plugged into the car and just unplug the fridge end before taking it into my hotel room.The fridge end of the cable fits the Dometic's 12V input socket perfectly. The 6.0 amp output of this adapter is adequate for starting up and running a fridge requiring up to 6.0A. Check the label on the side of your fridge model to see what the operating amperage at 12V is to make sure this adapter is adequate for your needs.The JacEnergy ran each of our fridges without any issues over the course of a day and did not get hot to the touch so I am happy with it.

Most of the portable fridges and freezers come with a cigarette lighter adapter to AC adapter and it’s just bulky. I get that they’re trying to save money on parts, but if you just wanna plug it in this plug is very handy knowing that the cigarette lighter portion won’t accidentally lose its pressure, and stop providing power to the unit and you lose all your food.

The power cord matched up perfectly and worked flawlessly. The original one had some sort of issue and didn't always work. It was brand new.
