CS6364
This 50 Amp locking connector is most often associated with RVs and shore power. It features two locking pins, as well as a center pin for extra stability. This connector is just like the NEMA SS2-50R, but this meets California Standards.

This plug (left) is most often seen in use with generators and RVs. It locks into place with a simple twist.

I purchased an Inverter generator with only a 120 VAC 30 AMP output. I thought this unit would BRIDGE the 120 VAC to L1 AND L2 of the output connector. It doesn't and it is my fault for assuming it did, its description doesn't say it would. I have a switch panel lockout that only allows either the Mains or External power to connect to the panel. I had to build my own adapter that bridges the two lines to 120VAC. I have to make sure that all my 220VAC breaker are OFF when I enable the generator. I wanted this setup so I didn't have to rewire the input panel if I decided to upgrade to a 220VAC generator in the future. The BRIGED converter cable is clearly marked so no changes to any of the other devices is needed and it still can be safely used when following instructions I have on the generator and panel box.

I can now connect my 30AMP GEN outlet to my 50AMP wall socket to power my house in a limited way, No electrical risk as the GEN is only capable up to 30AMP output to a 50amp, I will be upgrading my generator in the near future so I can have a 50amp output, this works for now. Solid piece and well made for sure. My electrician loves it.

It was very convenient to be able to purchase this product. The cord came complete with suitable cord caps factory installed. The cord was flexible and easy to use. It was a simple procedure to order and came very quickly.

The AC Works Cable is Night & Day - Awesome High Quality Product - I tried another brand which was cheaper...no comparison the cheaper cable was disappointing and very difficult is to plugin and remove from 50 A twist socket.

Perfect for connecting different generators by adapting the cord to a 50 amp connection box. Great build quality. a little pricey but it kept me from buying multiple cables as all generators may not have the same outlets. Excellent Built Product, Works Perfect. The locking ring is NOT used if you use it for a Generator connection to your home. The Twist lock holds it just fine to the box. I was originally worried that it would be in the way, but that was not the case..... Showed it to my Electrician and he was amazed at the Connector, he had never seen one. He had suggested making a new cord for me but I found this Adapter....Problem solved.
