This was one foot too short for my 40ft extension ladder. The ad states it’s for up to 40 ft ladders and unfortunately I had to Jerry rig this one with paracord to make it long enough and get through the day on my Werner 40ft ladder

I have an old single-pulley, 24' Werner aluminum extension ladder, and this rope was a perfect replacement. The old rope was starting to fray, so it was time for a new one. The pre-made loop made it a breeze to install. There was plenty of extra rope, so I cut off what I didn't need and heat-sealed the cut ends. Plus, the cut-off is long enough that I saved it to use for something else! Sure, you could easily enough make your own for perhaps less money, but it's nice to have a factory-made loop that won't come off, and have the rope be the right diameter to fit through the pulley, and know it will be strong enough to lift the extension without snapping, and have it be weather- and moisture-resistant.
