Supposedly this egr valve is OEM fit for Chevy silverado k1500 5.7l. I got it and the gasket was bent it was still usable though. I installed the egr valve and it fits well. I didnt start my truck and test it yet but I compared it to my old egr valve it the new one olds and the old one doesn't hold anyone. I will know forsure my truck will run and idle better with this new egr valve

On the underside in Large writing MADE IN CHINA This may be a new "OEM Replacement" however it is not OEM, looks like the AC Delco professional line. We will see how long it lasts, my old one made it 25 years 155,000 mi

Fantastic part that resolved the issue I was having! My issue was at lower RPM's my engine would bog down and almost sound like it was going to die or stall out. No codes were thrown however so I kept scratching my head as to what the issue was. I finally just ordered this part to give it a shot and holy smokes if it isn't like having a brand new engine!!!No more stalling or hesitation on acceleration! Truck runs super smooth again. Should have replaced this part a long time ago. Old part was still holding a vacuum which is why it wasnt throwing a code but man it was all clogged up.Now for some quick specifics, part is made in Mexico... But it seems to be built real well. They also have fixed the box design so the valve is in a seperate compartment from the new seal. My seal was perfectly strait and was not bent in the slightest. For a part that is so integral in engine performance opt for the OE manufacturer and just spend the extra money on ACDelco and do it right the first time!

I purchased this part to correct an accelleration issue on my 1994 Chev 5.7L Blazer. Although this part does not have the exact part number, it is a direct replacement. The part comes with the correct gasket and was easy to install. The best thing is that it corrected the problem and my truck passed the smog check with flying colors.

If you want a part "Made In China" with a ACDelco box..... This is it. I was hoping for a TRUE ACDelco EGR valve made in Canada or Mexico. However, that was not what I got or wanted. Part has been laser etched with "Made In CHINA".....100% Completely disappointed. I wonder if this part will last 239,000 miles like my original did for my 1990 Chevy truck. Highly doubt it. Recommend Amazon state origin of where exactly part was made, so we get what we want.Suggestion: Go to NAPA for a "Made In China" part. At least that is right down the road, and if you save your receipt, there will be no delay with your vehicle.

When warmed up, my 1995 Chevy K1500 w/5.7L would blubber and stutter at every stop when I would try to take off. If I gave a lot of throttle right off the bat then it wasn't really noticeable. I thought it was something fuel related but it would go just fine once you got going. I researched this quite a bit and this is THE one to get (Negative Pressure). It's worth the money, don't get the aftermarket part on this one, makes a total difference! Runs great now! Came fast with PRIME! Thank you ACDelco!

Ok, I order this one up in hopes for fixing a stumble in deceleration with my 94 Chevy K1500 with 350/5.7L. I had tested my current egr valve per the stock service manual, and it passed yet when I had it hooked up I would have stumbling on decel and some time a low part throttle iit would also stumble: however it I would un hook the EGR Solenoid it would almost entierly go away. SO I started to reaserch EGR valve and symptoms like mine and it seems that there are many aftermarket egr's but some were saying not to waste your money on them or trust them,as there are different types of EGR's (port, negative and positive backpressure (thi is a negative) and they are precision to work/flow and the after market ones may not be up to snuff or be as durable as gm/ac delco! For an EGR valve, "they" said to stick with the most current GM/AC Delco replacement and for me that was this EGR valve. + the price wasn't too much more than most of the after markets and Amazon got it to me overnight even though it was listed to possibly to take up to 1-2 extra days to process then ship!I know only have a few miles as I just installed it but the stumbling has gone away and now with the EGR system back up, hopefully my MPG will also go up some!Oh just a note on shipping with this EGR, It does come with a mountug gasket but the egr doesn't have any packing materials in side the box and it free to move around durring shipping which may cause damage to the gasket, so don't be supprised if your gasket shows up damaged. The gasket is the grey-foil metal type, mine had a couple bends/crease but was still usable.
