This shield fits flush "on the rotor", so as the wheel spin you will hear constant grinding. To avoid the hard work of taking the Hub bearing back off I just cut the Shield up on area's I know that will rub. Complete waste of time.

They are OEM and you should always replace them when you replace the HUB Bearings.
