obviously quality standards changed, as this part lasted 4 years and began failing intermittently. the original part, from the same beand though, had done a good job for 22 years.

The part came as expected, however, did not have the screws, which would have been helpful as the old ones needed to be replaced as well.

I looked at some of the latest over-the-counter TPS modules at the local auto stores and here at Amazon. Some modules are using a press-on washer to secure or hold the shaft as opposed to the original press fit shaft. I did not want to try the new cheaper design so I made sure to get an original equipment replacement from AC Delco.

A perfect replacement part when needed. Even when an aftermarket manufacture claims to "meet or exceed OEM standards", they never meet the quality and standard of an OEM service part, even if that part was made overseas.
