This is the harness that is already found in the roof for your factory cab lights. If one of those harnesses gets damaged or cut off, some reason, this is the replacement. The quality of this harness was excellent. The only reason I give it four stars because of cost.

I bought several of these to add to my truck so could mount extra lights on my rear doors. They were the exact same ones that are used on the front doors. Now have all four doors lighted with LED light. Very bright and easy to see when entering the truck doors. . Easy to install comes with about a foot of extra wire with connectors.

If you're looking to modify or bypass the VATS/PassKey system in your GM vehicle by wiring in resistors to match the impedance of the pellet on your ignition key, then this is probably the connector you're looking for. It will mate with the male connector on the vehicle (in place of the connector coming from the ignition cylinder.) VATS was used in various GM models between 1986 and 2003, so check to be sure that the system in your car uses this connector.This was delivered to me as a genuine ACDelco part (part no. PT146) in its original bag with GM part number 12085535. Its two flying leads are about one foot long. Also included were a couple crimp connectors.
