Quiet and smooth for regular braking with excellent stopping power for sudden stops.

There's no substitute for OEM parts. These are nicely finished, perfectly flat with zero brake pulse, and a painted hat, edges and cooling vanes. Absolutely worth spending a few extra bucks for quality brake parts.

First off, the ACDelco 18A813 (gm1917550) is a premium rotor and a good deal at $48/each.BUT Amazon split my order for two of them, so they came from two different locations. (who knows why?) The first delivery was an ACDelco 18A813A (gm19241868) That "A" at the end of the number makes it an El Cheapo rotor, not the right one. Second delivery was rotor 18A813. No "A", so it is correct. Be aware there is also an ACDelco "OEM" rotor 177-0980 (gm19202731) It is not premium either but sometimes it's priced even higher. All these rotors fit the FRONT of a 2004 Impala LS but may apply to other GM cars and years. Make sure you get what you pay for.

Great upgrade for your 2003 Chevy Monte Carlo SS. Great stopping power and pedal feel. I highly recommend them. Paired them with some ACDELCO Professional Durastop Ceramic Pads and could not be happier. Being a ACDELCO part it installed easily and I know I am getting OEM quality with an upgrade in stopping power.

These are the top line brake discs, similar to what originally came on the car. No rusting on hub or edges, and a nice hard construction resisting grooving or warping unlike cheap rotors. If you plan on keeping the car for a while these are a very good choice and I'd buy them again.

I purchased these disc brakes for my 2004 Impala and they work great, smooth stopping after 5k miles. I used to get my brakes done at the shop but sometimes they would use inferior products that would pulsate after a few months with my heavy foot. These discs and the new AC Delco pads front and rear are working amazingly. I would highly recommend them.I also don't work on my car that often and found replacing breaks to be fun and rewarding with the labor cost savings. It was like Christmas getting all of these parts! If you're debating on replacing your brakes yourself, I recommend watching some youtube videos to see how easy it is. I used a mallet to break free the old rotor. If the videos recommend tools make sure you have them, many auto parts stores rent tools for free even without a purchase.

I ordered 2 of these rotors and brake pads for my 2004 SS Impala, knowing that I was paying a premium price for the higher quality GM replacement part. The brake pads arrived very fast, but the rotors did not show up until a few days later, which is understandable. The packaging was great and I had what appeared to be two brand new GM rotors with identical part numbers on the boxes. I proceed to dismantle the old assembly from the vehicle and when I opened the boxes to put the new parts on I see I have 2 different rotors. One rotor is as described in the picture with the black center that doesn't rust, the second one is your typical cut rate rotor. I now have no choice but to put it on the car because I need the car. The functionality is fine for the time being, but I am extremely upset over something like this. 2 days after installing, the rotor in question quickly turns to rust on the center hub and is very visible through the 5 spoke factory wheels. I call customer support to complain and they offer me a partial refund on one of the rotors, which is better than nothing, but still unacceptable. This is my second bad experience with auto parts purchased from Amazon, and may be my last order. I'd rather spend the extra dollar somewhere else to know I am getting the quality part that I seek. If these things even remotely malfunction during the 12 month period, you can bet they will hear from me again.

Are smooth, seems to be working well with AC Delco brakes 17d818ch for 2000 impala. No problems so far have been using them for a month. Shipping was fast and product accurate.
