Same thing happened to me as another customer. A Gates part arrived in an AC Delco box. Sent it back. Bait and switch sucks.

Recently I replaced the old belt tensioner in my MB E350 4-Matic with this ACDelco 38319 Professional Automatic Belt Tensioner. It works very well and smoothly. I prefer ACDelco's components.

I don't appreciate paying more for an AC Delco tensioner which also arrived in a box with AC Delco labels only to open it up on a late Saturday evening after doing other work to find I was sent a Gates brand product. No local parts houses stock this part so I'm stuck without any other choice but to use it even though the last Gates tensioner only lasted less than 50k before it started falling apart. I feel I'm owed the difference in the two brands which is @ $35 which doesn't include my labor when the Gates brand fails again in a couple of years. Didn't find any email options of who to contact so I'll have to call I guess. Nothing Amazon can do for me tonight or the next few days.

Identical in Form, Fit and Function as the OEM Gates tensioner on a 2007 Mercedes C280, about $30 less than the same part number at RockAuto. Made in Turkey.
