Replaced the drivers side rear hub and thrust washer. Now the annoying clicking sound is gone. Needed to use a front wheel drive hub puller to get the old hub out. Note that 5th gen Camaro wheel studs are the same size as a 1500 pickup truck. The hub puller needed to be modified with a carbide cutter to expand the wheel stud holes in order to get them to fit over the existing hub. Be sure to clean the axle splines with a wire brush and lube them with some grease prior to reassembly. Also used some 150 grit sandpaper to clean the bore of the rear knuckle that the hub fits in. Lubed this bore with grease as well. Lastly, the axle nut is one time use so have a new one on hand when performing this job and be sure to have a torque wrench on hand that can tighten the axle nut to 199 ft-lbs.
