I installed it and it would squeak only in the cold mornings and during take off. It did that for about a few weeks and then it finally stopped. Everything is good so far now but I was tempted to return it.

Excellent belt and stopped the squeaking. I recently replaced my belt with a Goodyear brand. Within days it started squeaking. Soon as I installed this belt it ran quiet like it should. When I took the new Goodyear belt out It was the same size as the new ACDelco 6K923. However, when I compared the Goodyear to the ACDelco I noticed the "V" grooves in the ACDelco were deeper and had a quality look to them compared to the Goodyear. So that is probably why the Goodyear squeaked because of the really small grooves were not riding on the pullies correctly.

My 99 Jeep TJ was driving me crazy with a constant chirp/squeak like a bad bearing in the pulley or steering pump. Put this AC Delco on and it all disappeared 💪🏻 Definitely worth the extra few bucks to get a quality belt from a known manufacturer that doesn’t squeal!
