My pump failed ultimately after 5 or 6 months installing.It just started making a squealing noise but I can't say for certain it wasnt user error that another leak was not related... the reason why I don't give it full 5 star ratings here is because to redeem its limited life warranty Is not straightforward via amazon or the manufacturer, and what it required is to.buy a new one and waste my time on a telephone... I value my time more and decided to get a replacement from a local part store that would be easier to redeem the warranty in case that it is a failure.

The local auto parts shops used to be somewhat reasonable. Now it pays to shop online, yet it still pays to shop around. I installed this pump to replace the failed Car Quest brand pump we installed not long ago that did not last long. The pump has been installed for 4 months and is working fine so far. Every AC Delco part I have purchased has been of high quality.
