They are approved for use with leaded and unleaded gasoline, diesel, and gasoline blends of ethanol (E85), methanol, and ethers (up to the legal limits allowed by the EPA). They are temperature rated from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 257 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 degrees Celsius to 125 degrees Celsius) with gasoline blends. Gates makes great quality hoses/belts. I used this for vacuum hose on my catch can install on my 5.3 ls with cam, headers, and running 70% ethanol. Be aware, This hose has a 50psi limit for fuel. It worked great for my application.

Gates hose for the price of ACDelco! NOW, for those who doesn’t like reading the product information and then underrate the product: This is a fuel line hose but, NOT FOR FUEL INJECTION! It clearly says – “Return Fuel Line/PCV/Evaporation Emission Control Hose”. 30R7 hoses are 50psi rated only so, it shouldn’t be used in high pressure applications! Other then that, this is a good standard hose.
