I chose non coated because it was cheaper and my car is at the end of it's life span.its rusty and ugly looking now! Anyway it doesn't affect the performance. If you have a newer car, pay extra and get the coated one.

This is half price on Amazon compared to the chain auto parts store! I would buy again As traveling over mountains to and from work every day wears out rotors quickly.
