This pedal was constructed very well it could be wired to either press on or press off. It was very easy to attach a wire to the terminals and the included strain relief secures the wire to make sure it doesn’t pull out. I used the foot pedal to operate a table mounted router and it works great.

I had to replace an old Italian foot pedal switch and came across this Chinese pedal switch.I am fully satisfied with the fit and finish of this item. I will buy again !!!

Time will tell how it holds up, but this is an incredible price, for something made so robust. I'm only using the switch to pick up a relay- but the pedal itself is cast well, and very rugged!

Only reason I gave it a 4 & not a 5 rating is the metal on the cover is very thin and it broke putting it on. Had to buy a second one to get a good cover.

I gave the product more than one star because the thing at least has some heft to it and I need to give it some credit for not being plastic. The foot pedal does not come wired or with any wires. I state this for those that expect to plug in their router, porta-bandsaw or whatever and expect to be off and working. It also DOES NOT come with any instructions. For those that are buying this, maybe the majority know exactly how to wire it for their purposes or at least how to use a multi-meter or continuity tester....but really shouldn't it come with some instructions or a link to a web page or a nice little youtube video. I'm tempted to return it just on the principle of the thing.
