I ordered the Black Stewart tartan. As another customer noted it is more gray than black. However, that worked even better for me. It is absolutely lovely. The people who said they washed it made a big mistake. It is CLEARLY labeled "Dry Clean only". Sometimes people post reviews on the wrong item. It had no smell whatsoever and was soooo soft. I have REAL cashmere scarves and this is almost indistinguishable from the real thing. It does specify in the description it is "cashmere feel" not real cashmere. If you were getting a REAL cashmere throw this size, you would pay hundreds of dollars, not less than $20. But for the price it looks very elegant and if something were to happen to it, I wouldn't be upset like I would if I had paid $400 for it. I am going to order the Black Watch tartan. I have one in real cashmere but only dare to wear it to dressy occasions. I want one to wear every day and not worry if it gets stained or torn. I hope it turns out as nice as this one. If it does, I will certainly order a third style. Remember do NOT wash it, dry clean only.

Schön flauschig, aber 10 cm schmaler als in der Beschreibung.Kommt wohl aus China , deshalb schicke ich den Schal nicht zurück.

UPDATE: i've had this plaid scarf for over 2½ months now, and it's as good as the day i first received it. And i am especially hard on this garment as (in addition to its conventonal use) i also use it in my backpack to cushion groceries two or three times a week.This arrived about 20 minutes ago, and I probably ought to wait a couple of weeks before writing a review. But i am so delighted - i just had to scream its praise.Affordably priced, this scarf shawl wrap is soft - lives up to it's claim of feeling like cashmere. It is also just slightly thick, so as necessary - it can definitely help keep me warm (as such garment should). It hangs and moves well.Even when wearing my backpack, it's long enough that - as one end hangs just beneath the hem of my kilt, its other end can reach over my left shoulder, cross my chest, and get tucked into my belt.Another thing i like about this Scarf Shawl Wrap (generically known as a 'fly plaid') is that it's colours are just dark enough that it well matches my existing kilts of the same Black Watch tartan.The nature of its colour is such that this scarf/wrap goes well with nearly any kilt, even its tartan doesn't match.If you're in the market for such an item - i cannot recommend a better value for the money.In short, I love this item, i'm extremely glad i got it.

I was looking for a larger shawl to wear to the Highland games. This item was a good size, large enough to drape over my shoulders and pin. The made in China patch was easy to remove. It had a very nice, quality feel to it. It wasn’t too heavy, and it wasn’t too light. A nice weight for the highland games at loon mountain in New Hampshire.
