I'll be honest, I was skeptical, but this totally changed the tone of a more budget acoustic I have. It made everything sound much brighter and snappier. This is an easy thing to try! I would recommend!

I'm a big fan of metal bridge pins. Just like "tone woods," there's controversy in the guitar community about what types of pins sound best, or if they even affect the sound at all. It's difficult to prove conclusively one way or the other, and I realize that I'm susceptible to the placebo effect like anyone else, but these certainly seem to sound better to my ear. From a physics point of view it stands to reason: the more dense a material is, the more vibration (sound) is transferred through instead of being lost. Look at how sound travels in water compared to air. The same applies (theoretically, at least) to the nut and bridge. These are the main points of contact for the strings, and you don't want them to absorb any of the string vibration. In the case of the bridge saddle, you want all that energy transferred into the top of the guitar, and dense metal will do that better than wood, plastic, or bone. The brass also looks very nice, in my opinion. My one minor complaint is that the color of the pegs is subtly different than the nut and bridge saddle. The photo makes it look more dramatic than it is, with the pins looking almost silver. That's just an artifact of the camera. The actual color variation is slight, but noticeable.Be sure to check the measurements for the nut, saddle, and pins on your guitar before ordering. The manufacturer gave all of the dimensions except the diameter of the pins just below the head. For the record, that is 0.205".
