  • 1. Before you do the installation, go online and learn how to remove the airbag assembly, follow the airbag instructions to the letter.
  • 2. After the air bag is removed, the installation is pretty straightforward. If you have some trouble getting one of the connectors to click, just check and make sure the pins on the light are not bent (or bent slightly), correct it and it goes in as it should.
  • 3. No require for any special tools, but you really should watch someone else do an install before you try this.

For a Sony XAV-AX100 setup with an aftermarket CarPlay head unit in a 2009 Base Camry, the buttons add features however, I use a Metra ASWC-1 with the Axxera setting programmed on my PC. Hope this works for you. Also the ‘DISP’ button does nothing in an 09 Camry.

Tuve q abrirlo los antiguos y cambiarle la placa base y ponerselo a los nuevos. El problema esta basado en el conector al volante.
