My latch was fine but the wiring was shot. This was a great replacement that fit as it should and is still going strong a year later. Highly recommend this one.

The switch lock tab broke somehow, luckily I noticed it and was able to do something about it(ziptie) before it became an issue.Plug and play.The latch holds the hood closed so far.Longevity has yet to be determined.Installed on an Audi A4 B6(2005)
