Some pumps come with a coupling to join the tubing in the washer deck with the pump assembly, but this one does not. No matter in my case since I had to replace the jets anyway. If the pump is bad, the jets aren't going to last much longer either.

so far so good- it pumps well and gets the water from the tank to up to the nosils

Got this to replace the cheap pump that came with a utv windshield wiper tank that are floating around on here, it was a perfect fit but seemed to be quite a bit better build quality than the one provided in my original kit, it seems to be a better sealed unit.

This was indeed a direct replacement for the washer pump on my 1996 Honda Civic. The ACROPIX product description states: "NO Leak - fix your windshield washer problem without leaking, and dispense washer fluid adequately". FIRST- this will leak because the rubber grommet does not fit tightly in the fluid reservoir hole. SECOND - it does NOT dispense washer fluid adequately. The drivers side barely made it over the wiper blade and the passenger side weakly sprayed onto the hood!So, I did a return and replacement of a defective ACROPIX item AND ordered another more expensive brand (HiSport) since changing the pump is a real pain. The ACROPIX replacement was a little better but only sprayed about a third up the windshield which, again, it does NOT dispense washer fluid adequately. This one is being returned as well. The other brand works fine!
