i have a bunch of sps sitting on these suspended on a rock, they seem to love it, the flow seems to be just right with their subtle separation.

The base is very wobbly at the connector the colorful plates are connected good but lift easily just like the plugs which feel like ceramic. This would be nice for an only frag tank. I feel if in with larger fish this could come apart easily in the tank with a bump or a big wave. Other then that seems to look nice and glows under the blue light of the tank!

Overall, this is a nice stand, but unfortunately it does not fit almost any frags, besides the ones it comes with, which are much smaller diameter than most frags from other stores or vendors. The other issue is that it ships flat in pieces, and then fits together with slotted pieces. I found that I had to use acrylic glue to glue these pieces together because in my tank the entire stand wobbled and shook with my high flow wavemakers in the tank.

My only concern is the mechanical connection between the clear acrylic pieces and the mechanical connection between each disk and the clear acrylic. The clear acrylic will probably hold to itself just fine, but they are only connected with a slip connection at one point. The disks I'm more concerned with. There's a rectangular male end on the clear acrylic that attached at the center of the disc through a female slot. Depending upon how much flow you have in your setup I could see the disc getting lifting off of the acrylic. Hasn't happened to me, but I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Otherwise the work fine. Looks nice and the frag plus fit perfected into the disks.

This frag plug holder would be fine if you were fragging out your coral colonies and needed a place to hold the newly glued frags. But the frag plugs that come with the holder are pretty much proprietary and smaller than store bought frags. I ended up drilling out the holes of the frag holders to widen the holes so they would be big enough to accommodate newly purchased frags from commercial vendors. If you do this, avoid drilling all the way through the holder as you would end up damaging the rectangular mortise hole that fits onto the acrylic support teton. So exercise restraint when drilling through, if you end up getting this structure. The footprint of this structure is a little big for my existing rockscape, so plan accordingly. The structure assembles and disassembles easily, maybe a bit too easily. I would have preferred a tighter tolerance so that parts fit snuggly during assembly. Currently I have to be aware of where exactly I need to pick up the structure so it doesn't fall apart when I lift the entire structure out of my tank.

Event-Ready DesignI used this fluorescent acrylic frag rack at a recent coral show, and it definitely grabbed attention. The bright colors add a pop that’s great for vendor displays, making it easy for potential buyers to spot my frags. For everyday tank use, though, I’d likely go for something a bit more stable. Some Assembly TricksWhile it’s easy to put together, the pieces can separate a little too easily when handling frags. A small dab of glue on the joints makes a big difference, especially in a busy environment where time is of the essence. This little tweak helps keep everything intact and saves hassle during setup.Best for Temporary ShowcasesThis rack shines for short-term setups like trade shows or frag events. It’s lightweight, simple to assemble, and does the job well for temporary displays. If you’re looking for a quick, eye-catching option for events, this rack does the trick!
