Was unimpressed to find scratches on the lid and container alike upon opening, despite them being packaged nicely in separate bags in a box. But acrylic does scratch very easily, so it isn't that much a surprise. Overall, very happy with this so far. It's MUCH too small for fish, so don't attempt to keep anything in this as big as a fish, but it seems the perfect size to start a brine shrimp colony in. Already has holes in the lid fit for air tubing and heater cord
