The large is more of a x-large. I would go one size down from your regular size.

Bought this for my husband. While the quality of the product is good. You can't physically try it on without ripping it. The neck area is not big enough to get up your legs let alone over your hips and the bottom is sewn shut between the legs. We need to take this apart and add buttons to the bottom to make this work and actually try it on. Unfortunately we don't have enough time to send back before our performance so we will make it work, otherwise I would send it back.
