Cheap plastic doesn't hold up to repeated use. The screw that inserts into the phone clip/holder and the angle adjustment parts are made of light plastic that breaks far too easily. If you are in a pinch and have to use this, you should be okay if you are gentle with it - but it won't hold up to regular use. It's not expensive, but for the $8 I paid I expected to get a little more use out of it. Can't recommend due to how fragile it is.

A family member man- handled the ball pivot BEFORE loosening the tightening screw . This snapped the plastic neck off. No fixing this ! Be careful and take your time adjusting. This is a good value purchase- just use with common sense. I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 because it broke even tho it was probably operator error.

You can put the camera in the holder and move the legs to get a perfectly level photo. It's lightweight and even holds my iPhone in the case. GREAT product!

The ball that holds the stand and attaches to your device. It eventually breaks in half to where you can use it. You will have to get a new one or get a knew ball to fit on something else.

It's a nice flexible tripod that is really inexpensive. While the mounting swivel is a lightweight plastic, the price is low and fair. The little remote shutter trigger works well and does not require any new software on your Android phone. Just pair it to your phone in bluetooth and it can emulate the camera shutter button whenever the camera app is open. If you find the tripod to be useful, you can spend more and buy a more expensive unit. For our purposes, this was a great purchase.

I thought these were going to be great and versatile. The legs seem to be. They could be longer, to wrap around larger posts, tree trunks/branches, etc…and still get any low angle. What’s the point if the materials are so inferior as to make the tripod unusable in a short time. Wish I had read the reviews. I usually do. I think I confused these with another brand in a rush purchase. I bought two.First, before a month was out, with just simple phone use at home, the very cheap, soft plastic stem of the ball head snapped off, rendering the phone holder useless. iPhone 13 Pro Max with Defender case. It was not holding it tight enough. Too many accidental tilt downs, and the stem would loosen frequently, so I tried to tighten both the head and attachment disc. Once I did, and I tried to swivel from landscape to portrait, it was finally tight enough, and simply snapped as I turned. Then I had an extra pair of legs. The second tripod suffered the ball head tightening itself. The metal bolt stripped the nut embedded in the plastic, so it won’t tighten anymore, just a few weeks after the other break. I switched everything around to try to make one good tripod again, vowing to be careful with tightening and swiveling. The other nut stripped immediately. You can see in the pictures how far it will tighten, and how far the bolt is Not sticking out of the nut. Now they are both essentially useless… Garbage.Would be really nice to get my money back.I’d give more stars for the legs, but why bother? They’re there to hold something. If they can’t…DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT!

It is not exactly sturdy. But it works. Might have to order a second one just incase this one fails. I like that it is light weight, easy to carry around.

Product was as described. Very light and seem to be sturdy enough. Legs are flexible so that I can prop them in seemingly otherwise impossible places for a particular frame. I bought this for my wife who likes to document her culinary experiments. She's happy with it.

I got the 6.5" and am really surprised at the quality. The legs work great as a stand- the rubbery nubs at the bottom are reasonably grippy- and the legs also bend around things very well. The top part holds my iphone 6 tight even when I shake it vigorously. I trusted it enough to wrap it around a branch over a river! The remote has good range and can even do video or burst photos, and if I have an app like snapchat or instagram open it can take pictures and videos in that app. If I have no app open, pressing the button turns up my volume for some reason. I almost gave it four stars because the remote turns off if I let a minute and a half go by without pressing the button (I actually went and timed it). Then I realized it's probably a design feature since the little blue light blinks when it shuts off at the 1min30 second mark. Once it shuts itself off, I have to wait maybe 30 seconds before it will turn on again, no matter how many times I try to turn it off and on. Replacing the battery didn't fix this problem, but it's easy to work around by simply taking pictures often, and if I turn it off myself it turns right back on again and pairs with my phone automatically.
