I have no complaints. It worked as expected and I was able to easily diagnose the failures on my hub motor and also verify that my fix worked correctly. Saved me a lot of time and worked great.

Maybe it’s user error.. but the instructions are very confusing and I have not been able to use this thing successfully yet. I just gave up. Does not come with batteries either.

This is a basic tester for essential e-bike functions. It isn't fancy but it works fine. It does not come with a 9-volt battery, and you may have to open up the case (easily accessible via four small screws) to install a battery, as I did with mine. However, the build quality is very good for such an economically-priced item. Honestly, if you're going to install 20 motors a day, this isn't the tester you want. For almost anybody else, it's totally up to the job and a few bucks cheaper than most of the identical units. Company is very attentive to customer service, very responsive, very helpful, and very polite. Overall I was very pleased with the transaction.
