I've used an Adam Sub8 along with a pair of their A5 mid/high range monitors and an RME UFX audio interface for mastering my live concert recordings for almost 15 years, and the subwoofer recently stopped working so I bought this to replace it. Very tight and accurate, more than enough low frequency output for my small home office and takes up much less room under my desk than the Sub8. The remote for adjusting the volume and crossover is very helpful for tuning. Very satisfied so far!

Acheté pour compléter une paire de ADAM A7X j en suis ravi vraiment.le tout étant installé dans une petite pièce non traitée les enceintes seules étaient difficilement gérable dans les graves.en réglant le filtre du caisson il est plus facile d obtenir un son homogène et quel son!clair,articulé et profond comme je l aime.j ai hésite avant l achat avec le sub 8 mais je pense avoir fait le bon choix.excellent!!

I don't have a large room so this sub is perfect for what I need. Current setup is:Source-->DAC-->Sub7-->Adam A5x SatellitesThe bass is so wonderfully transparent, focused and tight. This is not the sub for people that want to wake up their neighbors. This is more for people that want to accurately record and produce music or people that truly appreciate balanced sound.

Das äußerlich wertig erscheinende und technisch als hochwertig beschriebene Gerät mit Fernbedienung hat einen Schutzleiteranschluss (Schuko-Kabel). Über die Cinch-Kabel und den Außenleiter des Antennenkabels (Kabelanschluss) am Tuner entsteht damit eine Erdschleife, die sehr starkes Brummen verursacht. Leider gibt es hierzu und zu der konkreten Möglichkeit, wie dies zu unterbinden wäre, weder in der Angebotsbeschreibung noch in der Betriebsanleitung technische Hinweise.Mein Gerät war schließlich nach kurzer Einschaltdauer tot und ich habe es zurück gegeben.Ursache für den Ausfall war - wie mir mitgeteilt wurde - nur eine defekte Sicherung.Zum Musikgenuss bin ich nicht gekommen.
