Prevents any sticking to an open wound. Ask your doctor for a few squares before spending the money on a box unless your need is real.

I have a wound on my leg that needs to be covered. I can not use Adhesive of any kind. This mesh lays across the wound without sticking to it. It does not have to be taped down. The ointment I have to use on the wound holds it in place. It allows me to keep it the injury clean while allowing it to go through the process of being exposed to the air.

I was using these on a wound that needed a lubricant type of bandage. Use with a gauze bandage or large adhesive bandage. These were recommended by my Doctor .

A medicated mesh that you apply to the wound and then cover with gauze. It helps healing.

The first time these were used is when I hurt myself and I had a nurse come to the house. I don't understand why one person had such a hard time using them. I put medicine on my wound and then I put the bandage on, and then put on the no stick sterile pad, and wrap it with gauze. I'm 80 years old and my skin is very thin, plus I'm on blood thinners, so I'm hurting myself sometimes without even knowing it. I love these because it doesn't hurt nearly as bad when I have to change dressing, because a lot of time I will bleed.

That’s OK. I need this to apply on top of the leg once I receive two to the fact that my blood circulation is not as it should be. The wound center does not carry product that is the best for me so I must purchase it out of my own pocket. Thank you insurance company I am being facetious right now.
