I have a heel toe shifter on my 1990 goldwing and ordered this so that I can make sure that the shaft and seal don't go bad. It was easy to install and inexpensive peace of mind

I wish I had got one of these when I got my 99 Gl1500A, it would have saved me from replacing the shift shaft oil seal. And what a difference it made in the way the bike shifts, feels and sounds so much better. Well worth the money and time to install. You have to do some trimming on the inside of the cover but very easy to do with a pair of tin snips.

Drill the pivot hole one drill size larger to insure it will not bind. It will still have intended support.

Works great on my bike. One thing you need to know, if your bike has Markland controls , you'll need to shorten the front mounting spacer to accommodate this part. I was converting to pegs so it worked out for me. I added anti-sieze to the pivot . And the lower cover will have to be cut to accommodate this product.

Works as intended but you have to modify the heat shield on the inside of the side cover to make it fit
