This pistol plate does NOT fit any other pistol models such as Ruger SR9, SR40, SR Series and any other pistols. Installing the aftermarket optic plate is not simply “plug and play”. We recommend having a qualified gunsmith to install.

  • Designed to fit optic cut/plate that is compatible with Vortex Venom/Burris Fastfire/Doctor footprint. Please note: Some aftermarket slides have a precise optic cut based on the curved edge/corner of Vortex Venom, one of the common slide manufacturers is PSA Dagger(with Doctor cut). ADE and other brand red dots do NOT have the same curve as Vortex Venom, therefore this ADE RD3-009 red dot does NOT fit the aftermarket slide with CURVED vortex venom optic cut.
  • Motion Awake Technology. 6 MOA. Powered by a lithium CR2032 battery. Comes with Lens cloth, Instruction Manual, Recoil Reduction Rubber Shim, Piatinny Plate, Screws for conneting Picactinny Plate, Allen Wrench, tool, Battery Opener Coin, Battery.
  • Comes with instruction manual, lens cloth, wrench tool, screws, lens cover, piactinny plate and pistol plate for Ruger Security 9.
  • Upon receiving your ADE red dot, you'll find a pre-assembled Picatinny mounting plate, either already affixed or packaged separately. Use the provided Allen wrench to remove the two M3.5X6mm screws located behind the glass frame. This detaches the red dot from the Picatinny plate, enabling attachment to various handgun mounting plates for customization.

Like others have said mounting plate for security 9 very tight fit. Windage and up/down adjustment seem to do nothing. Going to see if I can return. Waste of money

I have managed to mount to my ruger security 9 compact with the plate that was sent with it made just for my firearm. Pretty easy. After I mounted plate I used a small bubble level to make sure it was level . The instructions were not that good but I watched a few videos to help me figure it out. After putting the optic on and turning it on I had to play with the wind age and level screws a little before the red dot came into view. Now I am just trying to zero it out . I might need a shim for the back to level it out better. But the dot is bright and it seems to be exactly as described. I am not sure how to use this plastic dial that came in box , they did not send any directions with it. The instructions that came with are not that great. So you might need to watch videos . Going to range to try it out..

The optic looked good but unable to adjust windage or elevation well. Right out of the box the dot was way over the right and far up. I figured this was normal and tried to move the dot to the left. I ran out of adjustment turns and the dot barely moved. Same went for the elevation. Don't buy from this seller. Its been over a week and still haven't received my return label or any response.

Mounting plate was impossible. I went elsewhere to buy another one. Very poor documentation. I would not recommend this vendor. 0 zero stars.
