I have a heavy rotary tool that I use in the shop more frequently than I use a Dremel. It is quite heavy and I was looking for a sturdy holder and this was it!I placed this on one of my plastic work tables and if you pace it on a plastic table, be sure to use some metal backing on the top and the bottom of the clamp to ensure a good fit and to prevent sagging. Ask me how I know that! lol.Good value and very strong for the money.

I'm very glad I bought this to use with my flex shaft. The arm at the top rotated more than I would have liked, but my set-up was quick and not totally ideal. I figure I can find a way to prevent that from happening the next time I set this up. Over all, would recommend.

I have had this for a few weeks now and works perfect with my Dremel. No issues at all and has been stable. Love it. After reading reviews, I was skeptical, but glad I took a chance.

I didn't buy this as a flex-shaft tool holder. I needed something exactly like this that would screw to the top of my bedside table to hold a c-pap hose. This works perfectly for that. The swivel at the top helps the hose move as I sleep, and the adjustable height keeps extra hose off my face. The base mounts with three screws, which works a lot better than the clamp style hose hanger I was using.

Exceeded my expectations based on some of the other reviews. Mine appears to be as sturdy as necessary for holding my Dremel tool. As long as those metal thumbscrews hold, and it appears they will, I have not one complaint. I screwed the base of mine to a half-inch board for clamping wherever and whenever I need it. I would have bought one with a clamp, but for the fact that I've already got so many clamps here.

CRAPPY...the quality you'd expect from a Dollar Store. The "metal" from which this piece of crap is constructed arrived rusted like it had been sitting in the warehouse for years. The label on the box warns that this product might contain cancer causing agents per California standard. I'd return it but did not feel like wasting my time. Buyer beware!
